Kane Wolfe Inspires Wolfe Pack Warriors to Donate Blood
Kane Wolfe was born with a heart defect. He was just a year old when he had his first heart surgery and needed blood. Kane’s family is so grateful to donors. While Kane was having his second heart surgery in 2019, his parents Kristy and Harrison Wolfe made their own first blood donations. Since then they have also rallied others to join them.
Our world changed dramatically as we navigated COVID-19 together as a community. The “Helping Hands” program, offered assistance with getting our community their groceries and essentials delivered.
In 2019, Kane Wolfe needed to have his second heart surgery at Edmonton’s Stollery Children’s Hospital. The Wolfe family understands that being in hospital can be a scary experience for children and the people who love them. Read the Edmonton Journal article to see how they got their community involved in supporting Kane and giving back.
