Hopes Cradle

Hope’s Cradle is a legal infant safe surrender program that allows mothers to anonymously and safely place their baby in care when they feel they have no other option. It serves vulnerable individuals, including trafficked women and girls, those facing severe family or religious consequences, and anyone experiencing a crisis pregnancy. While traditionally considered a last resort, Hope’s Cradle also offers a pathway to temporary safety. Mothers can anonymously surrender their baby and, within 30 days, work with community partners to explore options that may include reunification when circumstances improve. The program provides compassionate, judgment-free support focused on the well-being of both mother and child.

Tuition Assistance

The two predominant reasons women remain with abusers are:

1. They are financially dependent on them/ are needed for survival.
2. They have come to believe the emotional abuse they have endured for so long.

Our Scholarships do more than assist in getting an education. When survivors achieve, they gain confidence and prove the abusive words wrong every step of the way. Our graduates cross that stage with education that can transform their lives, and, belief in themselves no one can every remove again. GEMS is willing to consider all educational opportunities provided the likelihood of financial recovery and employment are highly plausible.

Risk Assessments

The Risk Assessments we provide are in partnership with True Haven, a registered charity created by the founder of Risk Control. The risk assessment is one of the first steps for a victim who knows something is wrong, feels they are in danger and otherwise needs help. If they feel they are in immediate danger, nothing should come before a 911 call.

To access this assessment, please reach out and we will make the arrangements. These assessments are highly useful when attaining EPO’s and can be used as supporting documentation and proof in many other situations. We are very proud to be working with True Haven on this vital initiative.
